TOURNAMENTS AND SPECIAL EVENTS
8th Annual Toughest Day of Golf – Friday, August 15, 2008
- 2-Person Golf Scramble
- Tee Times between 4:30 and 6:00pm
- Entry Fee: $50 per team
- INCLUDES: Greens Fee, Power Cart, Pin Events, Prizes, Brats w/Kraut
- Optional Skins Game for $10 per team
- Field limited to the first 36 teams (72 players)
- Teams may consist of all men, all women or mixed couples
GRAND PRIZE DRAWING: Free Power Cart for the remainder of 2008 season (must be present to win).
“What makes it so tough? It’s just a scramble…”
Well…Maple Grove’s staff will set the course up as difficult as it could possibly be. The tees will be set back in the next county, the greens will be lightening fast (weather permitting), the rough will be US Open rough, and the pin placements will be absolutely unfair. Don’t even think about being under par…no one has done it in 8 years…
This tournament is intended to be a fun event for all. We welcome players of all ability levels.

Once again, the Ace Hardware CMN 4-person Scramble will be held at Maple Grove. Details and signup sheets are available in the golf shop.
Men’s Club Championship – Sunday, August 24, 2008
Attention all Men’s Club members, the Club Championship is just around the corner. Sign up now for your chance to become a part of a long tradition (since 1929) as Club Champion!
- $20 entry fee (all fees goes toward prize money and food)
- Tee times start at 9:00 am
- This is an 18 hole Championship Event
- This is a flighted event based on your Men’s Club Handicap
- The number of flights will be determined based on the number of entries
- Pairings will be posted the Thursday prior (August 21)
